We align ourselves fully with the teachings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. In addition, we hold four core pillars that shape who we are:
Brotherhood | Virtue | Humility | Ownership

These principles guide how we live, grow, and strengthen one another in faith.
We believe men are at their best when they pursue mastery in these disciplines.
In a world that often falls short, we aim to be part of the solution.

Brotherhood

A commitment to walk together as men of faith, supporting, challenging, and encouraging one another through shared fellowship.

Humility

A posture of surrender and self-awareness, placing God and others before ourselves as we grow spiritually and relationally.

Virtue

The pursuit of holiness through disciplined moral living, payer, and striving daily to align our actions with the teachings of Christ.

Ownership

Taking responsibility for our faith, decisions, and growth – choosing to lead our lives with integrity rather than passively drifting.

See how the Sons of Thunder has impacted the faith,
discipline, and spiritual growth of men just like you:

“As a seasonal Catholic with no real understanding of the faith, the Sons of Thunder was a group that completely flipped that mantra on its head for me—one I had been yearning for. Young men, all hungry for Christ, whom I could learn from, develop healthy prayer habits with, and lean on as a support group to hold each other accountable. If you’re looking for a young men’s group to be a part of, I highly recommend joining the Sons of Thunder. Not only for the fellowship, but because I truly believe this group aims to fulfill the works of Christ by empowering men to deepen their faith and encouraging them to carry it out through action.”

“Sons of Thunder showed me there are cool Catholic men out there that I can learn and grow with. When I prayed for Catholic friends, my prayers were answered 10-fold when I met the group at St. Mary Immaculate Parish for Exodus 90. A very good group and steady anchor on the faith journey.

The guys are always welcoming and encouraging; the epitome of what a Catholic men’s group should be. It is so important to have accountability partners along with brotherhood in today’s disconnected world. A great community of men. Thanks be to God. These guys mean a lot to me and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and walk with them on this journey. A real blessing and pleasure to be in brotherhood and communion.”

“From when I was teen up until my mid twenties I struggled with isolation, chronic loneliness, and depression. I didn’t really have any close friendships and often kept to myself. I really related to the Psalmist who wrote Psalm 88. To be honest I didn’t have much hope. When I joined Sons of Thunder I wasn’t really sure I was going to attend frequently, but I almost instantly loved it. It was a place where young men could share their struggles, find support, and build friendships founded upon a common love for Christ and His Church. Thanks to Sons of Thunder I can honestly say I don’t struggle with loneliness or depression much anymore.”
